Wax to Metal Workshop - April 25

This workshop is in collaboration with Malaspina Printmakers - please book direct through their website.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will explore the lost wax casting technique by designing and carving their own wax pendant, ring, or small object. After the session, I’ll cast each piece in sterling silver, finish it, and return it to you within two weeks. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and maybe a few images or sketches for inspiration!

This event will take place at on April 11th at Malaspina Printmakers from 10-1pm - 1265 Howe St, Vancouver, BC. Here’s a look at how the workshop will flow:

1. Welcome & Introduction (15 minutes)

2. Design & Sketching (15 minutes)

3. Wax Carving & Modelling (90 minutes)

4. Final Touches & Workshop Wrap-Up (30 minutes)

What’s Included

• All wax, carving tools, and materials (10 g sterling silver) needed to create your piece

• Hands-on guidance and support from start to finish

• Your finished piece returned within two weeks

• Light snacks & drinks
