Wax to Metal Workshops
A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and create a one-of-a-kind organic ring using traditional wax carving techniques. No experience needed — just curiosity and creativity.

Create Your Piece
You’ll design and carve one organic ring from wax during the workshop, starting with a blank form and shaping it entirely by hand. You’ll choose your ring size and guide the overall look and feel of your piece — from soft, sculptural forms to more textured, imperfect finishes. Along the way, you can add engravings, fingerprint impressions, or surface details, and optional gemstones. No two rings ever look the same — the process celebrates individuality and organic design.
Learn The Process
This workshop offers a gentle introduction to traditional lost-wax casting. You’ll learn how wax models are transformed into metal jewellery, become familiar with professional tools and materials, and receive guidance on design choices that work well for casting. I’ll share tips and techniques throughout, helping you understand what’s possible while still leaving plenty of room for experimentation and play.
Bring Your Design to Life
Below is a glimpse into the process. One-of-a-kind pieces, just like yours.
Once your wax piece is complete, I’ll cast it in sterling silver, finish it, and return it to you within two weeks—ready to wear, either picked up in person or shipped to your door. You’ll also receive a custom-designed booklet with tips, resources, and inspiration for exploring the jewellery world in Vancouver and beyond—a little guide to keep creating long after the workshop ends. This is the moment where your ideas and hands-on creativity become something tangible, personal, and lasting.
